Mr. Jackie Smith, Owner of The Coffee Shoppe
Mrs. Jackie Smith spent 25 years working in finance with the City of Selma. She retired from the City of Selma as the Financial Director. Smith spent eight years working in finance with Hyundai in Montgomery, Alabama. Smith is also the former Dean of the Business Department at Wallace Community College. In 2011, Mrs. Smith founded the small community restaurant, the Coffee Shoppe. Smith opened a coffee shop because of her love for coffee and community. Smith has served as a judge for the Selma Business Pitch for three of five years of its existence. On November 7, 2018, the Coffee Shoppe celebrated its Seven Year Anniversary. The Coffee Shoppe is located at 308 Broad Street, Selma, Alabama.

Randy Williams is the host of the weekday talk show "Viewpoint" on WHBB. Mr. Williams is also the founder and Managing Editor of the Selma Post Herald and the Selma Post Herald Media Production company. Williams started The Selma Post-Herald in 2002 and SelmaPostHerald.com in 2005 as an alternative source of print media. Williams has been an entrepreneur most of his professional life. He got his start in the media in 1974 in radio, and in the early 1980s he got into his first publication.
